Inside Sales 

Job Purpose:

Serves customers by selling products; meeting customer needs.


  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.

  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.

  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.

  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.

  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Meets minimum sales quota monthly.

Computer Technician

Technology Product Specialist 

Intech Southwest is looking for a Technology Product Specialist to engage with Hewlett Packard, one of our key manufacturing partners. This position will be responsible for being completely familiar with the Hewlett Packard business line of desktops, notebooks, printers and client software. This individual will provide demonstrations of the product line, assist in driving sales and educating customers on how the products are used.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre- and post-sales support for HP Personal Systems products
  • Drive selling activities around HP Elite and Specialty products
  • Drive all communication of Personal Systems programs, promotions, rebates, etc.
  • Maintain sales opportunity funnel and activities log
  • Understand Intech Southwest sales team training needs and communicate to PBM and Navigator program manager
  • Drive a minimum of one HP product-based training for reseller sales team each quarter
  • Attend kick-off training held during Fiscal Q1
  • Attend monthly training conference calls/webinars
  • Schedule and hold update calls with HP Partner Manager twice monthly


Ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant experience
  • 2+ years of PC sales background with end-customer sales experience
  • Strong presentation, sales, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and educate teams to produce results
  • Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings
